Client Agreement — Integrated Guidance & Astrology Sessions

By booking a session with Alejandro Negrete-Hendrie through Nous Institute LLC, you confirm the following:
— This is educational and contemplative guidance, not medical or psychotherapeutic care. I understand that results are not guaranteed.
— I take full responsibility for my participation, well-being, and choices throughout this work.
— I am of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in my jurisdiction and accept this Agreement freely and without coercion.
Please read the full Agreement below before completing your booking.
1. Nature of the Work
Integrated Guidance and Evolutionary Astrology sessions offered by Nous Institute LLC provide educational, contemplative, and experiential support drawing on Psychosynthesis-informed coaching, spiritual guidance, evolutionary astrology, and integrated developmental frameworks.
This work:
– Is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention
– Does not diagnose or treat mental health or medical conditions
– Is not a substitute for licensed professional care
You remain fully responsible for your own physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being throughout your engagement with this work.
2. Client Responsibility & Readiness
By booking, you affirm that:
– You are participating voluntarily and of your own free will
– You take full responsibility for your own process, choices, and outcomes
– You have sufficient psychological stability and capacity for self-regulation to engage in reflective inner work
– You are not currently experiencing acute psychological destabilization that would require individual clinical support before engaging in this work
If at any point this work no longer feels appropriate for you, you are responsible for seeking additional or alternative support from a qualified professional.
3. Scope of Practice
Alejandro Negrete-Hendrie and Nous Institute LLC:
– Do not provide psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
– Do not act as a licensed mental health provider
– Do not assume responsibility for your personal, medical, psychological, spiritual, or legal decisions
When appropriate, referrals to licensed professionals or other resources may be suggested. Acceptance of any such referral remains entirely your own choice and responsibility.
Alejandro reserves the right to determine, at his discretion, that he is not the right guide for a client's particular needs at a given time, and to decline or discontinue ongoing work on that basis. Where possible, this will be communicated directly and with care, along with a referral suggestion if appropriate.
4. Confidentiality
Nous Institute LLC commits to maintaining reasonable confidentiality regarding your personal information and anything shared during sessions, in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at nousinstitute.com/privacy.
This confidentiality does not extend to information that: (a) was already known to Alejandro prior to your sharing it; (b) is or becomes publicly known through no fault of Nous Institute LLC; (c) is disclosed to Alejandro by a third party without breach of any obligation to you; or (d) Alejandro is required by law to disclose.
Evolutionary Astrology Readings are recorded by Nous Institute LLC, and the recording is provided to you afterward as part of the reading. Integrated Guidance sessions are not recorded; instead, a written summary is prepared and shared with you following the session. All recordings & summaries are provided for your own personal, private reference and may not be published, broadcast, or shared publicly without Alejandro's written consent.
5. Astrology Reading Accuracy
The accuracy of any astrology reading depends on the accuracy of the birth date, time, and place you provide. If your birth time is uncertain or unavailable, please say so when booking — a reading can still be offered with appropriate adjustments, but some techniques that depend on precise timing may be less reliable or unavailable.
6. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
– Sessions must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the session fee.
– Late arrivals will still end at the originally scheduled time, to respect the time of any following clients.
– No-shows without notice are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
7. Ending an Ongoing Relationship
Either you or Alejandro may end an ongoing guidance relationship at any time, for any reason, with reasonable notice where practical. Any sessions already paid for but not yet used will be handled per Section 8 below.
8. Payment, Rates & Refunds
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Because sessions involve significant individual preparation time (particularly astrology readings), sessions are non-refundable once booked, except at Alejandro's discretion in cases of documented extraordinary circumstances. Rescheduling per the policy above remains available.
Rates may be adjusted periodically, typically at the start of each year. Any package or ongoing commitment already booked will be honored at its original rate through completion.
9. Intellectual Property
Any frameworks, practices, or materials shared during a session are provided for your personal use, reflection, and practice. Please do not reproduce, teach, or represent this content as your own.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nous Institute LLC and Alejandro Negrete-Hendrie shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in a session, including but not limited to emotional or psychological distress, personal decisions, relational changes, or life outcomes.
Your total liability recovery, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the session in question.
11. No Guarantees of Outcomes
No specific psychological, spiritual, emotional, relational, or life outcomes are guaranteed. Sessions are offered as educational and contemplative support, not as promises of transformation or specific results.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first seek resolution through good-faith direct communication at info@nousinstitute.com. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in New Mexico in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your state or country of residence.
13. Amendments
Nous Institute LLC reserves the right to update or amend this Agreement from time to time. The most current version will always be available at nousinstitute.com/session-agreement.
Continued booking of sessions following an update to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Acknowledgment
By booking a session, you confirm that you:
– Have read and understood this Agreement in full
– Accept it freely, voluntarily, and without coercion
– Are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction
